Taking this course of bacteria has improved my quality of life 100%! After barely one month, my stool frequency and consistency have changed – stomach cramps and diarrhea have been a rarity ever since… thank you so much!

The gut and adverse food reactions

People with adverse food reactions cannot digest certain components of their food. This phenomenon is very common with dairy products (lactose) and fruit sugar (fructose). Clinical studies have shown that certain intestinal bacteria are able to process lactose and fructose. This means there need to be enough of them in the intestine.

Adverse food reactions, particularly lactose intolerance, affect up to 65% of the world’s adult population. A distinction must be made between congenital and acquired intolerance. Congenital intolerances are genetic and therefore cannot be treated. Acquired intolerances, on the other hand, can occur during the course of a person’s life and vary in their severity. The main reason why some people cannot digest diary products is because they lack the digestive enzyme lactase. This is required to breakdown the lactose found in milk. As babies and toddlers we can tolerate the lactose, but as we grow and begin to eat other foods, most people’s bodies reduce their production of lactase. This means that the lactose ends up undigested in the colon, where it causes a fermentation process that makes the stomach swell. The colon also absorbs more and more water, because the lactose binds water. This causes the intestine to fill up faster than usual with increasingly liquid stool. Acids are also formed when the lactose is broken down. These stimulate bowel movement and cause cramps. The consequences are obvious: Flatulence, cramps and diarrhea. In the case of a fructose intolerance, it is the fructose that reaches the colon undigested. Sluggish transport proteins in the wall of the small intestine, which are supposed to transport it into the blood, are to blame. If fructose ends up undigested in the colon, it triggers a fermentation process similar to undigested lactose. This, too, leads to flatulence, cramps and diarrhea.

LACFRU.pro contains 6 important, highly active bacterial strains (12 billion microorganisms), including Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria, which occur naturally in the intestine, combined with calcium, which supports the function of the digestive enzymes, and selected B vitamins that contribute to normal energy metabolism.

Important information

General information

The living microorganisms are in powdered form in the capsules, which are made up of a gastro-resistant shell. This allows them to easily survive their stay in the stomach. Acids and enzymes are produced during digestion, which the microbes would otherwise find difficult to survive. To be absolutely sure that the capsules reach the intestine undamaged, it is advisable to take them 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. The recommended daily dose is one capsule per day. If you have severe histamine intolerance, you should refrain from taking this probiotic composition. We recommend people with a known intolerance of this type take HISTA.pro instead.
