The German Nutrition Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Ern\u00e4hrung e. V) recommends the following <strong>ten simple rules<\/strong> when eating. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use the&nbsp;<strong>diversity<\/strong>&nbsp;of healthy food and drink to add variety to your diet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take five portions of&nbsp;<strong>fruit and vegetables<\/strong>&nbsp;a day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reach for bread, rice and noodles with the&nbsp;<strong>wholemeal variant<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eat&nbsp;<strong>meat<\/strong>&nbsp;only in moderation,&nbsp;<strong>fish<\/strong>&nbsp;two to three times a week and consume&nbsp;<strong>dairy products<\/strong>&nbsp;daily.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use&nbsp;<strong>vegetable oils<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use&nbsp;<strong>herbs<\/strong>&nbsp;instead of salt in your dishes and reduce your sugar consumption as much as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Drink enough<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 preferably only calorie-free drinks such as water or unsweetened teas (at least 1.5 liters per day).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Always prepare your food gently<\/strong>&nbsp;so that as much of the nutrients as possible are preserved. An excellent preparation method is steam cooking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take&nbsp;<strong>enough time to eat<\/strong>&nbsp;and don&#8217;t rush.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep an eye on your weight and make sure you&nbsp;<strong>move regularly and sufficiently<\/strong>.
