The so-called &#8220;facultative pathogenic&#8221; bacteria, i.e. disease-promoting microorganisms, include clostridia and coliform bacteria. These cause fermentation and putrefaction processes and can thus trigger digestive problems and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Physical well-being therefore depends to a large extent on a healthy intestinal flora.
